With a passion for enhancing patient outcomes through innovative treatment strategies, Tharuniya brings a wealth of experience and specialized knowledge to our team.

Education and Credentials: Tharuniya is currently pursuing an MSc in Applied Exercise and Health Science at Canterbury Christ Church University and holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute. She is a certified member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

Professional Experience: Tharuniya’s extensive clinical experience includes roles at 4 Life Health Care Services as a Health Care Assistant and various placements across prominent UK health institutions such as Kent Community Health, Kent and Canterbury Hospital, and QEQM Hospital, Margate. Her background also includes significant clinical tenure at MGM Health Care in Chennai, where she provided physiotherapy services across multiple departments including ICU, orthopedics, and oncology.

Specializations and Interests: Tharuniya specializes in pulmonary rehabilitation, musculoskeletal disorders, and emergency trauma care recovery. She is proficient in therapeutic modalities, manual therapy, and exercise prescription, ensuring personalized and effective treatment plans for patients of all ages. Her work is driven by a commitment to patient education and empowerment, helping individuals regain function and enhance their quality of life.

Publications and Projects: She has contributed to the field through publications such as “Efficacy of motor therapy over sensorimotor therapy in upper limb functions of post-stroke patients” and has led reviews on the psychological and physiological changes in the elderly.
